During the weekend: Sat - Sun | 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM
The vernacular photography exhibitions, curated by Giorgia Padovani and Sergio Smerieri, respectively depict ordinary and extraordinary moments set against the backdrop of Piazza Belvedere in Guiglia, in the province of Modena, also known as "the balcony of Emilia," and the customs and traditions of the economic boom of the 1960s along the Panaro River in Vignola and the beaches of the Romagna Riviera.
The talk is a moment of reflection on vernacular photography, its applications in contemporary art, and how the GU.PHO. festival, now in its third edition, fits within this context. For more information: https://gupho.art/
It will also be an opportunity to present and launch the project to collect photographs that testify to the hospitality offered by the families of Bertinoro. The aim is to create a digital archive of images that showcase this famous and important tradition of the city.
